At ProACT Academy, we’re committed to encouraging our instructors and students to continuously create, grow and learn within the field of emergency preparedness and education. The American Red Cross curriculum reflects this commitment, as well as the diverse backgrounds and cultures of our instructors and participants alike.
Our mission is to empower individuals with life-saving skills by providing accessible, affordable, and high-quality education that instills the confidence to take action in critical situations. Through our American Red Cross curriculum, students will obtain the most up-to-date lifesaving knowledge and skills to confidently respond when moments matter.
We are an independently operated, Licensed Training Provider of the American Red Cross! The organization is owned and directed by a UW-Madison Undergraduate nursing student, Jared Lemminger. Jared is a Nationally Registered Advanced Emergency Medical Technician and has taught health, safety, and preparedness courses for over four years. Teaching these courses is Jared's absolute passion, and he hopes to continue to educate the community in emergency preparedness education, one student at a time.
